End of season - registration early September
The junior section of BSHC caters for children from ages 5 to 15 (school years 1 to 10), after which they transfer to the senior section. The younger age groups are introduced to hockey in a fun and imaginative way, progressing to the development of specific hockey skills and tactics as they increase in age, experience and ability. There are competitive opportunities for most age groups playing in inter-club mini leagues.

All training will take place at Hockerill Anglo-European College.
U7 (school years 1 & 2, minimum age 5 years) - Annual Subscription £40, training Sunday 9.30am to 10.30am. Parents must stay for the duration of the session.
U9 (school years 3 & 4) - Annual Subscription £45, training Sunday 9.30am to 10.30am. Parents are advised to remain for the duration of the session – if not staying coaches must be informed.
U11 (school years 5 & 6) - Annual Subscription £45, training Sunday 10.30am to 11.30am. Child must be accompanied to and from the pitch by an adult.
U13 (school years 7 & 8) - Annual Subscription £50, training Sunday 10.30am to 12.00pm. If a child is allowed to walk to and from session prior written consent from a parent is required.
U15 Girls (school years 9 & 10) - Annual Subscription £50, training Tuesday 7.30pm to 9.00pm, girls can stay on and join senior training for an extra hour if they wish.
U15 Boys (school years 9 & 10) - Annual Subscription £50, training Wednesday 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
Please note we do not charge a match fee for participation in matches and tournaments. Each senior member is entitled to one half price junior subscription for one of their children – reductions are also available for 2 or more siblings.
