Welcome to 2008. I trust you all ate and drank far too much over the festive season – well now’s the time to shed those excess pounds and get yourself fit and ready for the second half of the season.
Results in the first half of the season have been mixed, but let’s all support our captains, make ourselves available every week and go training wherever possible – you never know, we may end the season with a flourish.
Plans are being explored for building a new astro at our clubhouse in Cricketfield Lane. It would be fantastic if we could achieve this, I will keep you up to date on our progress.
Finally, we have three social events in this half of the season – The Quiz, The Blues Night and The End of Season Dinner - your support is essential.
