The men's section of Bishops Stortford Hockey Club was formed in 1924 with the Ladies joining in the 1980's to form the club we have today.
The club fields 7 mens teams, 5 ladies teams and have a large expanding junior section who play in the White Knights junior league.
We play our home games at Hockerill School where we part own an excellent sporting facility and all weather pitch which has recently benefited from a new playing surface, the addition of a spectator area and new state of the art changing facilities.
We have links with all the local schools and have been consistently one of the strongest clubs in the East over the past 20 years.
The club was recently successful in achieving the England Hockey 'Clubs 1st Accreditation'. This accreditation recognises that Bishop's Stortford Hockey Club is committed to providing and maintaining a Safe, Effective and Child Friendly club environment.
